The 100 Women in Finance JumpStart Program is a multi-day virtual experience. It provides university-age students with an introduction to the financial services industry and the opportunity to meet experienced professionals.
To complement the global Jumpstart program, 100 Women in Finance host one-day in-person education events in select geographies. And this September, it's happening in Hong Kong!
Regional 100 Women in Finance Jumpstart Program: Hong Kong
Date: Tuesday 26th September, 2023
Time: 3pm (HKT/SGT)
Location: Central, Hong Kong
Enrolment Deadline: Thursday 21st September, 2023
The half-day event will start with group sessions with experienced mentors and peers, where each cohort will focus on different topics. During these sessions, students will gain guidance from industry professionals, interview tips, and networking opportunities related to the topic area.
The event will conclude with Speed Mentorship sessions with industry practitioners and Money Date groups hosted by GJWHF$ team members.

100 Women in Finance Jumpstart University Investment Hackathon
Briefing Date: 10am - 11am (HKT/SGT), Saturday 2nd September, 2023
Challenge Date: 9am - 1:15pm (HKT/SGT), Saturday 16th September, 2023
Location: Central, Hong Kong
Enrolment Deadline: Tuesday 29th September, 2023
Hosted by J. P. Morgan, this years' Jumpstart program in Hong Kong will include a stock picking competition for students with some investment knowledge. This hackathon will give students hands-on experience in fundamental analysis and the investing process.
Teams of four female students will be given study materials on the Briefing day to prepare for their presentation on the Challenge day. The team with the best investment idea for the challenge topic and scope will be the winner!
